In the night there comes a light
shinning down on this soul of mine
Rays of hope gives peace to cope
leading me to the other side

And now I know theres a reason
for everything I go through
With every heart break season
theres healing I know tis true

Time will come when when lives no fun
and leaves me standing alone
Lord this life cuts likes a knife
but still I hope to reach the other side

I know it's gonna be a long time
before the silver chord breaks
and Lord in the mean time
everything just gonna heve to wait
